Numerous test wins in the past have proven that ZEG can not only produce carbon frames for Karl Platt and Co. racing, but also takes the entry-level sector seriously.

The current Copperhead 3 RS shows a lot of attention to detail, for example in the cable routing or with the in-house Bulls rims, even in the supposedly low price range. The 27.5 mm wheels steer much more directly through the terrain than the 29er competition. Every movement on the handlebars is followed by a response from the bike without delay. Good for experienced riders. The lightweight wheels with high-quality Schwalbe Evolution tyres accelerate by far the best in the test field, which is clearly noticeable on the climbs and when setting off on the trail. The level of equipment is impeccable with the triple XT and the saddle proved to be particularly comfortable on the test ride.

ConclusionBulls perfectly implements the expertise of the professional team in the budget class. The Copperhead is the athlete in the test field and the clear winner on points.

PLUS Lightweight wheels with excellent acceleration, comfortable saddle, successful cable routing

The alternative: The equipment remains largely the same on the Copperhead 29 RS, only the wheel size changes. The 200 euro surcharge should pay for itself in more stable handling. The weight remains the same.
