All good things come in threes: after two successes in previous years, the test victory in 2014 also goes to the bike brand Bulls. This year for the first time for the Copperhead as a 27.5-inch hardtail.

In contrast to the competition, however, the Copperhead does not weigh any more than last year. On the contrary: Bulls saves 100 grams by using lighter rims. In all categories, the Copperhead scores with the lowest weight values and the best equipment, which ultimately gives it an 800 gram lead over the second-placed bike - a world. Nevertheless, Bulls does not trim the Copperhead into a super sports bike: the riser bar ensures an upright riding position. The Reba fork smoothes out obstacles with ease. When things get dicey, all you have to do is tap the brake lever of the powerful Deore stoppers. Thanks to the XT shifters, shifting distances are short and commands are pleasantly direct.
