However, the 9.45-kilo team version is already the top of the range for the ZEG hobbyhorse and, with the full XTR, the stiff SID-XX fork and FSA carbon components, leaves nothing to be desired. The short top tube and narrow handlebars ensure a compact riding position and slightly nervous steering. Long chainstays (454 mm) prevent rearing up on steep ramps. In addition, the flexing seat post gives the stiff frame a lot of comfort. Both testers found the 620 mm handlebars "limiting" on technical downhills and when pedalling out of the saddle, which cost handling points.
