Unno has given its flagship Mith a technical update. With the switch to the DJI Avinox M2S motor and up to 150 Nm of torque, the already well-known E-MTB has become one of the most powerful powerhouses on the market.

In the fast-moving world of e-mountainbikes, annual updates are often considered mandatory, but they are rarely as significant as the Unno Mith for the 2026 model year. Anyone who follows the brand from Barcelona knows that company founder César Rojo and his team do not focus on quantity, but on perfection. The Mith was originally launched in 2025 as one of the first production bikes with the DJI Avinox M1 system. Now it's not a completely new bike, but a consistent further development under the bonnet: the new Avinox M2S motor moves into the striking full carbon frame and pushes the performance limits in the enduro segment significantly upwards.

Evolution instead of revolution: the frame remains, the power grows

At first glance, the Unno Mith may hardly look any different from its predecessor. This is entirely intentional on the part of the developers. The radical design language with the deep-drawn top tube and the striking damper linkage has proven to be both functional and aesthetically groundbreaking. The real news for 2026 is the integration of the DJI Avinox M2S drive. While the 2025 model with the M1 system was already one of the most powerful representatives, the M2S now goes one better.

The torque increases to an impressive 130 Nm in the standard setting. For those who like it even more radical, up to 150 Nm can be briefly called up via a boost mode. This means that the Mith leaves all the competition from the established engine manufacturers in its wake. The peak power climbs up to 1300 watts. However, Unno emphasises that this brute force is not an end in itself. The aim was to create a bike that can tackle technical uphill sections with an ease that previously seemed unthinkable, without losing the natural riding feel.

A drive system for the highest demands

The DJI Avinox M2S is not only powerful, but also remarkably compact and lightweight. With a motor weight of around 2.52 kg, it makes a significant contribution to ensuring that the Mith remains agile despite its full-power approach. The system is controlled via a 2-inch OLED touch display that sits flush in the top tube. It provides all relevant data with a brightness of 800 nits, which ensures clarity even under bright midday sun.

The integrated 800 Wh battery continues to provide the power supply. In combination with the 508 watt GaN fast charger supplied, the Chinese are setting new standards in terms of charging time: the battery is charged from 0 to 75 % in just 90 minutes. A full charge is completed in less than two and a half hours. The system is therefore perfectly tailored to the needs of riders who only need a short break after a morning tour before getting back on the trail.

Proven durability: the 12,000 kilometre test

An impressive long-term test shows that the basis of the Mith - the frame and the bearings - is already fully developed. Company founder César Rojo himself claims to have ridden a prototype over 12,250 kilometres and more than 460,000 metres in altitude. The results underline Unno's philosophy of staying small and keeping development cycles short. While wearing parts such as chains and brake pads had to be replaced regularly, the Spaniards report that the frame and the large EnduroMAX bearings showed no signs of fatigue. Unno grants the first owner a lifetime guarantee on these bearings and the entire frame.

Design and geometry: focus on speed

The Mith retains its "Mullet" configuration - 29 inches at the front for maximum smoothness and 27.5 inches at the rear for manoeuvrability. The suspension travel remains generous at 170 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear. The geometry is uncompromisingly designed for downhill performance, which is emphasised by the slack steering angle of 63.5 degrees. Nevertheless, the steep seat angle of 77 degrees ensures that you sit in the centre of the bike even on extreme climbs.

Unno paid particular attention to the insertion depth of the seatpost. Thanks to an optimised seat tube design, riders of all sizes can use dropper posts with a long stroke, which offers decisive freedom of movement in technical terrain.

Our verdict on the new Unno Mith

The Unno Mith 2026 is not a new design, but a targeted refinement of an exceptional e-mountainbike. By upgrading to the DJI Avinox M2S motor, the brand is addressing precisely the point that currently matters most in the high-end class: usable, massive power in a durable overall package. With its combination of Catalan design aspirations and technological dominance, the Mith remains one of the most exclusive and capable enduro bikes on the market.
