BionX is the manufacturer that Wheeler uses for its two hub-driven e-mountainbikes. The BionX D-Series delivers 250 watts with a battery pack of 557 Wh. The E-Fully is called E-Falcon and the E-Hardtail is called E-Eagle. Next year will show whether the two bikes are as fast off-road as their namesakes in the air.
Wheeler E-Eagle: The D Series drive unit from BionX delivers 250 watts and, according to the manufacturer, the built-in 423 Wh battery pack should be able to cover a distance of 105 kilometres with electronic support. The hardtail is suspended by a Suntour Raidon XC-RL-Air 29, while the 180 millimetre discs from Tektro should provide the necessary braking power. The relatively simple equipment drives the weight of the E-MTB hardtail to 22.9 kilograms.
