YT Tues CF Pro test
The Tues from YT is one of the bestsellers among big bikes, particularly popular with park freeriders thanks to its balanced geo. Fast, but also nice and freeriding.

From 15 August, however, it will be more expensive at € 4299.

We were therefore particularly excited about the carbon version of the long-running favourite. Lo and behold: aluminium has not simply been turned into carbon - designer Stefan Willared has also revised the geometry. The current racing hype sends its regards! The Tues has become longer: longer wheelbase and more reach. Of course, it now also rolls on 27.5 mm wheels. When you look at the test bike, one thing in particular is hard to believe: the price. 4000 euros for such an elegantly equipped bike seems impossible. The super chic bike costs half the price of Specialized's Demo! You can't help but look for the catch. But there isn't one. The new Tues is also a feel-good bike with playful handling, despite the change in geo (longest reach in the test). Everything fits. YT relies entirely on air suspension. The BOS suspension develops a high level of riding comfort with a very sensitive response and inspires with a lot of pop when jumping and out of corners. Pleasant: The bike rides very quietly and feels light. Only in the speed check by professional Fischbach did the Tues not perform quite as confidently as the test competition. "Not the fastest, but the most fun bike," summarises Fischi.

CONCLUSIONThe Tues has become racier, but has retained its pleasant character. It manages the balancing act between race and freeride. A top bike! And twice as good for the price!

Strengths Price, fun factor, look
Weaknesses Saddle hits the rear wheel when lowered.

Steering centre: The YT Tues is quite flat at the front (smallest stack value). We therefore pulled out the bars of the very sensitive BOS fork completely, we liked it better that way.Photo: Daniel Simon Steering centre: The YT Tues is quite flat at the front (smallest stack value). Only racer Fischi complained about slight sagging at high speed, despite the right sag.Photo: Daniel Simon Air shock: The YT is the only bike on test with an air shock. A good choice, as we found.
