In addition to the new features on the popular Santa Cruz Vala, the Californians are also presenting two updated versions of the Bullit. Both models have new Fox suspension elements, which the manufacturer claims will improve downhill performance. The CC frame also has integrated cable routing and the electronic derailleurs are connected directly to the main battery.
The Bullit CC X0 AXS RSV uses the new Fox 38 fork. This is designed to offer more stability and to feel the terrain more precisely at high speeds. The Bullit CC XT Di2 Podium RSV uses the Fox Podium fork, which has already been used in limited special editions. The Podium version combines the fork with a DHX2 steel spring damper and promises more stability, control and speed.
The CC frame has integrated cable routing. All electronic derailleurs are connected directly to the main battery. The XT Di2 version uses Shimano's electronic shifting. Both models are available in two new colour variants: Gloss Purple Smoke/Spring Green and Matte Carbon/Purple Sunset Chameleon. As with the Vala, a five-figure sum has to be paid for the Bullit. This means that for most fans, the e-MTB will probably remain more of a dream bike.
