Propain Spindrift vs Rose Soulfire
In 2019, freeriders want to be able to do more than just ride downhill. They want to be the one bike for everything for gravity bikers. Which bike rocks the trails more radically: Rose or Propain?

3000 euros is a lot of money. For example, you can get a premium around-the-world ticket, a second-hand small car, 73 day tickets for the Saalbach-Hinterglemm bike park or an overnight stay in a suite at the Elbphilharmonie in Hamburg. But also a serious freerider? That's what we want to find out. Because according to our reader survey, you are most interested in bikes in this price range. And because you often get the most for your money from mail order companies, we asked the Swabians from Propain and the North Rhine-Westphalians from Rose to build us a freerider for exactly this amount. We left it entirely up to them to decide which components to use.

You can find out which bike won this test duel in the test report, including all the data and ratings. The PDF is available in the download area below:

Born in South Baden, Laurin Lehner is, by his own admission, a lousy racer. Maybe that's why he is fascinated by creative, playful biking. What counts for him is not how fast you get from A to B, but what happens in between. Lehner writes reports, interviews scene celebrities and tests products and bikes - preferably those with a lot of suspension travel.
