Bergamont Big Air MGN
Big Air actually refers to Bergamont's freeride range. The new Big Air MGN now bridges the gap to the Enduro class. The suspension and geometry have been optimised so that you can not only ride very well downhill, but also uphill. However, with 185 mm travel at the rear and 180 at the front, climbing is more of a means to an end. The top model Big Air MGN (photo) costs 4299 euros, has DT Swiss EX 1750 wheels, SRAM Hammerschmidt gear cranks and Fox suspension elements. The hydroformed aluminium frame is said to weigh 4.5 kilos (without shock), the complete bike 14.8. The "CPS" rear suspension system is designed to prevent brake pedalling.
Bergamont Threesome
The Threesome is positioned in the all-mountain category. The newly developed chassis now has 155 mm of suspension travel, the geometry can be adjusted (steering angle) and the frame weighs around 2.7 kilos. Four models from 1800 to 5000 euros.
Bergamont Revox
Revox is the name of Bergamont's first 29er hardtail. In terms of geometry, the developers focussed on very short chainstays (429 mm) and a low bottom bracket (320 mm). Two models are available for 1200 and 1700 euros (photo).
