The lightweight plastic fender (64 g) protects the rider from splashing water. This is useful for any ride in the rain.
The Mudhugger is available in long and short versions. We tried out the short version and mounted it using the mini cable ties supplied. The Shorty X does its job just as well as any other fender, but it is of a higher quality.
