At the Eurobike Media Days, Fantic presented the Integra Race, an e-freerider with 180-millimetre suspension, its own battery and mixed wheel sizes.

The Italian forge Fantic comes from the motorbike segment and has been building e-mountainbikes for some time now. The latest addition is particularly interesting: the Integra Race has 180 millimetres of travel at the front and rear and impresses with many details.

The rear triangle looks solid, as it should be: According to Fantic, the solid rocker, the bearings and the frame are particularly stable and therefore durable. The rear triangle elicits 180 millimetres of travel from the Rock Shox Super Deluxe steel shock, while a Rock Shox Lyrik, also with 180 millimetres, works at the front.

Fantic also relies on different wheel sizes: A 27.5x2.8 inch wide Maxxis Minion DHR 2 at the rear should provide traction, while the 2.5 inch wide Minion DHF in 29 inch at the front should allow precise steering. The rest of the equipment also seems sensible: the Sram Code R brakes with 200 mm brake discs should ensure maximum deceleration, while the Sram EX1 drivetrain should change gears smoothly and continuously.

Fantic has installed the new Brose S motor in the Integra, which has more torque. The Italians couple this with their own 630 Wh battery for maximum range. The developers have deliberately designed the battery to be short in order to keep the centre of gravity as low as possible. The Brose control element is also new.
