Fantic: E-Downhiller from the motorbike specialist
In the segment above 180 millimetres of suspension travel, the air has been thin until now. But now Fantic is coming up with a Brose bike for the really rough stuff.

Fantic enters the suspension travel range above the 180 millimetre limit. For the purely downhill-orientated clientele, only Haibike has so far come up with a real big bike. Of course, the target group for this category is not particularly large. Nevertheless, Fantic has dared to take the step of launching a pure downhill bike on the market.

The followers of the Italian cult manufacturer, which is primarily known for its off-road motorbikes, will probably be delighted. Fantic wants to set the tone visually with a brushed chassis, unusual carbon seat stays and an aggressive design.

The suspension travel should leave nothing to be desired: 200 millimetres are available at the front and rear, Rock Shox provides the appropriate components with the Boxxer World Cup line. Braking is provided by the four-piston Formula Cura 4 brakes.

When it comes to the drive, Fantic tends to take the easy route: the Brose Drive S motor, coupled with a 650 watt-hour battery, is designed to push the downhiller back uphill to the start after the work is done.
