Behind the brand from Barcelona is constructor and designer Cesar Rojo - the inventor of fast-forward geometry (Mondraker). The Unno label offers five bikes. Particularly exciting for FREERIDE readers: the Enduro Burn, Bigbike Ever and Trailbike Dash. Unique feature: Unno only produces one size per bike class - "one size fits all", so to speak. The Spaniards have attracted a lot of attention in the scene with their exclusive look. The geometry, on the other hand, looks rather conventional.
GEOMETRY:
Spring travel: 126 mm / 138 mm
Reach: 448 mm
Stack: 595 mm
Chain stay: 430 mm
Steering angle: 65,6°
Seat angle75.4° mm
BB-Drop: -35 mm
Wheelbase: 1192 mm
Weight: 12,8 kg

The frame kit costs a whopping €5000. We recommend the complete bike. This costs € 6350 with the right equipment. The top model goes for a staggering € 8650.
We love the Dash! We immediately felt comfortable (height: 1.78 metres). With its short chainstays, the trail bike is easy to pull into the manual, bounces willingly over tree trunks in the bunny hop and steers itself lively and directly over the trail. Strikingly, the 29er wheels didn't inhibit our playfulness in the slightest. We liked the suspension. Only the undefined compression modes on the Öhlins shock caused forehead creases. The Dash bobbed noticeably on the climbs. The spec is solid, but nothing more. The bike is light, but not sensationally light. The price is dizzying - at least for us.
On the homepage we read that the Dash was designed for the sporty, ambitious trail biker as well as the playful trail shredder. Bingo! It has succeeded. It plays in the same league as the Santa Cruz 5010 or the Rocky Mountain Thunderbold B.C.-Edition. But the Unno is even more exclusive: meeting an Unno Dash on the trail is as likely as running into Helene Fischer while picking up bread rolls. That's because Unno limits each of its models to 50 per year worldwide. In short: great looks, very exclusive - but you can certainly get a similarly playful trail bike for less money.
