In short: nothing enduro, but freeride! When the people from Koblenz designed the motorised version of the freerider Torque, they wanted to combine exactly the same characteristics in the e-bike: robust, downhill-strong, agile, in love with jumping, manual-addicted. The result was a 27.5-inch aluminium bike with a slack head angle (63°), generous top tube and very short rear end (430 mm). The battery is small (504 Wh) - this reduces the weight and should make the freerider nice and agile. A second battery is available for an extra € 500.
There's no such thing, you want to shout, the Torque is so easy to pull onto the rear wheel - that's amazing for an e-bike. The short rear end gives the freerider wings and is a lot of fun. Disadvantage of the short chainstays: Climbing performance suffers. But we freeriders can cope with that, can't we? Provided you have some fine motor skills. The powerful suspension turns the Torque into a large calibre and gives the bike such a smooth ride that even angry bike park trails lose their terror.
For us, of course! For people who let it rip in life. The Torque shouts "action" and pants for speed. Simple trail rides should be done by others. The freerider feels at home in the bike park or on technical descents. The bike wants to jump, wants to drop, wants to glide through the terrain like there's no tomorrow. The e-bike is designed and equipped for this and has the necessary mix of smoothness and manoeuvrability. For riders around 1.80 metres, we recommend the medium size, as it is even more playful.
