Danny MacAskill's creativity knows no bounds. In 2019, Danny filmed his Danny Daycare project, in which he drives Daisy, his friend's daughter (and usually a doll), around the Scottish countryside in a bike trailer. With most of the material already in the can, Danny was still missing that certain something to round off the project. The Scottish trials and mountain bike athlete decided to modify a trick that most of us can only dream of doing, even in its usual form:
"After the film was basically finished after 1.5 years, I was just missing something. I always had in the back of my mind that it would be pretty cool to do some kind of flip with the trailer in tow. That was the start of a 6-month mission: from the first attempts in the schnitzel pit, to an airbag cushion, the search for a suitable location and the day it all came together."
