Corratec Bump Force XR - Single test
The image of the newborn on the down tube could symbolise Corratec's new direction: The Bavarians are entering the freeride business with the Bump Force line. (BIKE 11/2004)

Art design is the order of the day at Corratec. A photo of a baby on the down tube, with skeletonised hands. Above it, very self-confidently, the huge Corratec lettering. The Raublinger can also be self-confident. Visually alone, the new "Bump Force" looks huge. Large, hydro-moulded tubes, massive Manitou steel suspension elements, thick rollers from Corratec's own brand "Zzyzx". Shifting and braking components are made from Shimano's new "Hone" freeride groupset. All other add-on parts such as the cranks and seat post - also from "Zzyzx" - are a perfect visual match. You take a relaxed seat in the typical, rear-heavy freeride position.
