The Corratec Allroad C adds a sportier option to the Raublinger's all-terrain portfolio. The new model is particularly striking on the scales, where it stands out from the existing carbon platforms in the Corratec range. According to the manufacturer, the new Allroad C weighs just under 9 kilograms, making it the lightest gravel bike from Corratec. For comparison: The Allroad C2, which uses the "old" carbon frame with a curved top tube, weighed in at 9.72 kilograms.
The geometry of the Corratec Allroad C is optimised for long distances. However, with an STR ratio of 1.54 in the medium frame size, you sit a little more stretched out than on the Allroad C2. The long wheelbase of 1025 millimetres and the relatively slack steering angle of 71 degrees ensure high stability. Carbon contact points such as the handlebars and seat post as well as low-set seat stays help to make rides through challenging terrain comfortable.
The new model can also be fitted with tyres up to 45 millimetres wide. However, 40 mm tubeless tyres from Schwalbe are fitted ex works, which match the frame paintwork perfectly with their olive green sidewalls (!). Thanks to threaded eyelets on the fork, the top and down tube and the rear triangle, bags, pannier racks or fixed mudguards can be easily attached.
According to the manufacturer, Corratec will be offering the new Allroad gravel bike "from the start of the 2025 season" in just one equipment variant with first-class components: The electronic GRX from Shimano ensures precise gear changes, while the carbon wheels from DT Swiss are said to be characterised by their low weight and improved aerodynamics. The price for the complete bike is 5999 euros.
