Back to the roots: With the Rose Hobo, the Bocholt-based bike manufacturer is making a comeback for steel frames in its own product portfolio. The new flatbar urban gravel bike is available in three colour variants - one of which is limited to 500 units.

Rose Hobo Limited Edition

The highlight of the market launch is a model limited to 500 units. The Rose Hobo in the Limited Edition is equipped with the SRAM Rival eTap AXS XPLR electronic 12-speed shifting group; the frame colour is called "speckled white" - marbled. The centrepiece of the Rose HOBO is a robust steel frame in a retro design

The frame of the Rose HOBO is made of CRM0 steel, which makes it extremely durable and stands for a traditional, honest riding experience. In addition to its robustness, the HOBO exudes real retro vibes with its classic design and stands out from the crowd of aluminium and carbon bikes. What's more, steel is easily recyclable.

Rose HOBO: Sporty geometry with flatbar handlebars

The straight handlebar with a width of 780 mm enables intuitive handling in all riding situations and on any surface. The modern carbon fork and the 44 mm wide gravel tyres are designed to provide more riding comfort. The geometry of the HOBO remains sporty even with straight handlebars.

Matching accessories for the Rose HOBO

The Rose Hobo can be equipped with a wide range of specially developed modular accessories according to individual preferences - suitable for everyday use and also for bikepacking adventures.

The head tube of the Rose HOBO has mounting points for a front carrier - the HOBO RACK fits perfectly. This matching front carrier is available in three colours: "serious black" (black), "canary" (yellow) and "bubble gum" (pink) - each for 149.95 Euro available. The HOBO RACK offers plenty of space, but can also be used as a small rack in just a few simple steps.

The large aluminium rack is designed for a maximum of 5 kilos. Its dimensions are precisely matched to those of the specially designed HOBO RACK BAG, available for 99.95 euros. With this bike bag, which can also be worn as a rucksack, cyclists can expand the storage space on their bike and have quick access.

And what if it rains? For everyday use, ROSE supplies customised mudguards from SKS for its new steel frame bike (set price 39.95 euros). There is also a light system from Knog with a suitable bracket for the HOBO RACK (99.95 euros).

The equipment variants of Rose's new steel urban gravel bike

The HOBO is available from 1599 euros - in three equipment variants.

Equipment variant 1 & 2: The HOBO Deore for 1599 euros and the HOBO GRX810 for 1799 euros, both available in the colours "pine green" (green) and "maliblue" (turquoise). Both versions are equipped with lightweight, robust Rose G TWENTYFIVE Disc aluminium wheels and 44 mm wide WTB gravel tyres.

Equipment variant 3: For those who do not want to do without the advantages of electronic shifting performance, the HOBO Rival Tap AXS XPLR limited edition of 500 for 2999 euros in the special "speckled white" (marbled) paint finish with gold logos. The wheels of the Limited Edition are the high-quality Rose G THIRTY Disc aluminium wheels, which roll on 44 mm wide WTB gravel tyres.

Standard equipment on all three models

All models are equipped with 780 mm wide flatbar handlebars, a Rose carbon fork and a hardness-adjustable leather saddle from Selle Italia. The bike can also be customised with the accessories (described above).

Sandra Schuberth, sometimes an after-work ride, sometimes a training ride, sometimes an unsupported bikepacking challenge. The main thing is her and her gravel bike - away from the traffic.
