Powerful Bosch drives, premium quality made in Bavaria and versatile customisation options thanks to the online configurator - this is how the Bavarian e-bike manufacturer M1 wants to expand its niche in the e-bike market. With a total of six model series, including an all-terrain and a full-gavel model, the company from Großhelfendorf covers a broad target group.

Customised configuration and production

All M1 models can be customised using an online configurator. Customers can choose between three motor options and all Bosch battery variants - 800, 600 and 400 Wh, plus a PowerMore range extender with 250 Wh - and specify numerous equipment features. Production takes place in the company's own factory in Bavaria and all frames are made of carbon fibre. Thanks to on-site production and connected warehousing, the manufacturer says that all customised e-bikes can be delivered just two weeks after ordering.

New Bosch drives

The new Bosch Performance Line systems are used as drives: the recently introduced Power unit CX-R and the new CX presented at the beginning of the year. The CX system also offers the performance upgrade introduced with the CX-R launch. This also increases the power of the "normal" Bosch CX to 750 watts peak power and 100 Nm torque. With the new eMTB+ Ride Mode, the bikes will now provide up to 400 per cent assistance. In addition, the Light motor Bosch SX on offer.

Versatile model portfolio

The M1 portfolio includes various model series for different purposes, the frames are made exclusively from carbon fibre. With 170/160 millimetres of suspension travel, the Enduro line offers robust bikes for the most difficult terrain. Thanks to 160/160 millimetres of suspension travel and mullet tyres, the AllMountain models also have no need to shy away from technically demanding routes, although the focus is on long alpine tours. For sporty trail riders, there is the manoeuvrable M1 Trail with 150 millimetres of suspension travel. The crowning glory of the M1 creation is the WorldCup model with 170 millimetres of suspension travel and the most exquisite equipment. However, the Bavarians also charge their customers a hefty 14999 euros for this. The off-road model portfolio is complemented by an AllTerrain model with 150 mm for cross-over use - from mountain bike tours to commuter routes - and a FullGravel model with 130 millimetres of suspension travel.

Smooth running meets riding fun, gravel meets trail and tarmac, flexibility meets boundless freedom. The M1 FullGravel is a hybrid of mountain and gravel bike. This is also confirmed by the geometry data.

M1 Enduro

The M1 Enduro line offers robust, full-suspension e-bikes with plenty of suspension travel for maximum control in the most difficult terrain. Technical trails, downhills, jumps and drops - the M1 Enduro wants to test the limits. 170/160 millimetres of suspension travel are combined with mullet tyres. The geometry dimensions match the area of use, but are not too aggressive - the M1 Enduro is also ideal as a companion on technically demanding tours. The bike is available as a light version with Bosch SX and 400 watt battery, or full power with Bosch CX or CR.R with 600 or 800 watt hours. Weight: With SX drive from 20.3 kilos, price: from 6791 euros.

M1 AllMountain

Unadulterated riding fun on long, demanding tours and in any terrain: The M1 AllMountain has downhill-oriented Fox suspension (Performance Elite or Factory) and Mullet tyres. The geometry data is very similar to that of the Enduro, the suspension travel at the front is one centimetre shorter and the steering angle is half a degree slacker. The full range of motors and batteries is also available here. According to the manufacturer, the 160 millimetre bike with the expensive 9.0 equipment package should weigh 19.25 kilos with the SX motor and 400 battery, and 21.95 kilos with the CX motor and 800 battery. Price: from 5992 euros.

With a 66.4 degree head angle and 77 degree seat angle, the geometry is designed for climbing efficiency and manoeuvrability on the trail. 150 millimetres of suspension travel, a choice of 27.5 or 29-inch tyres and Bosch's complete range of motors and batteries are available. Weight according to the manufacturer from 20.2 kilos, price: from 4392 euros.

M1 WorldCup

More is not possible: exquisite components, exclusive price. With a suspension travel of 170 mm front and rear, the WorlcCup aims to live up to its model name and compete with the fastest and most powerful bikes in the E-MTB orbit. It comes with factory suspension from Fox and 29-inch tyres on the front and rear wheels. And the carbon frame is garnished with a complete carbon fibre package - consisting of cranks, handlebars, wheels and saddle. According to the manufacturer, the weight should be record-breakingly low: 18.10 kilos in the SX version - that would be a strong value in this suspension travel class! Price: 14999 euros and not a cent less.

M1 FullGravel

The FullGravel looks like a mountain bike full suspension bike with gravel handlebars. And it is, if you look at the geometry data. Reach, stack and seat angle are roughly the same as the trail bike, only the steering angle is half a degree steeper and the suspension travel is slightly shorter at 130 millimetres. Smooth running meets riding fun, gravel meets trail and tarmac, flexibility meets boundless freedom. Weight according to the manufacturer from 19.6 kilos, price from 6990 euros.
