​The Diamant Nhoma Plus is called ‘Equipped Gravel’ and comes ex-works fitted with lights, a luggage rack, mudguards and a side stand. This combination makes the bike just as suitable for commuting as it is for weekend rides or multi-day tours.

The Nhoma is one of Diamant’s best-selling models. The Plus version is designed to cement this position with a price-performance ratio aimed at appealing to beginners and everyday cyclists. Diamant positions the bike between classic trekking bikes and dedicated gravel bikes. The target audience is cyclists who want to ride in a sporty manner but do not want to compromise on practical features.

​Aluminium frame with Mahon platform

The frame is made of aluminium and uses the same platform as the Diamant Mahon. Whilst the Mahon, with its flat-bar handlebars, is designed for comfort, the Nhoma Plus offers a sportier take on the same design. The drop handlebars alter the riding position and make the bike faster. The frame geometry is designed to strike a balance between comfort and sportiness, without leaning too heavily in either direction.

The frame and fork feature numerous mounting points for bottle cages, locks and other accessories. The fork offers generous tyre clearance and accommodates tyres up to 29 x 2.0 inches or 27.5 x 2.6 inches. The Nhoma Plus comes fitted with Bontrager Girona tyres as standard. The luggage rack is called the Clever Rack; it is MIK-compatible and designed to carry a load of up to 25 kilograms. The model range offers two entry points. The Nhoma Plus appeals to buyers looking for a fully-equipped gravel bike at an affordable price. The Nhoma Pro offers higher performance for riders with more demanding requirements. Both models share the same basic philosophy of a gravel bike suitable for everyday use, complete with standard equipment.
