The well-known Rose Sneak is getting a new version: Sneak EQ is the name of the city bike, which now comes with mudguards, integrated lights and a pannier rack as standard. Just what you need in the city to get around on two wheels, right?

With the Sneak platform, Rose offers a sleek, stylish and uncomplicated city bike. Until now, however, the Rose was virtually naked. With the Sneak EQ version, it now has everyday features such as mudguards, lights and pannier rack, which should make it a carefree bike.

What is appealing is that the Rose Sneak starts at a total weight of 12.3 kilograms. The Bocholt-based company offers sizes from S to XL as well as two frame shapes - a normal diamond frame and one with a significantly lowered top tube (midstep). Anyone who has ever searched for their battery light in the depths of their rucksack in the rain and darkness will understand: The StVZO-compliant and fully integrated lighting on the handlebars and mudguard is practical.

Cycling is zeitgeist and the new SNEAK is a statement for aesthetic minimalism and the mobility of the future - nothing more and nothing less. - Anatol Sostmann, Director Product & Brand at Rose

The so-called always-on lighting - you could also call it daytime running lights - is dynamo-powered. So no more worries about empty lamp batteries. The straight handlebars with 180 degree steering angle offer comfort and manoeuvrability on the road. Up to 8 kg of luggage per side can be carried on the luggage rack struts positioned on the mudguard. A city bike with a service mindset.

Rose Sneak EQ: 2x11 gears for flat to hilly routes

What the Rose Sneak EQ is also characterised by its clean and chic design concept despite its suitability for everyday use. According to Rose, particular attention was paid to detail during the development of the frame: Adjustment screws and thru axles are concealed, which not only looks nice but also protects against dirt.

Each model features the durable Schwalbe G-One RS Evo tyres, which perform well on both asphalt and muddy surfaces. The Rose Sneak EQ 1 is equipped with a Cues 6000 2x11 gear system and disc brakes from Shimano. The Sneak EQ 2, on the other hand, is equipped with the more powerful Shimano Cues 8000 gears.

The city bike is available in three different colours, with the "chalk" colour serving both frame shapes, the midstep version with sloping top tube in "light mint" and the normal frame in "faded denim".

The Rose Sneak EQ is now available in two equipment variants and in two frame shapes in trade. The entry-level price is 1699 euros, although the high-end model of the Urbanbike is also available in the (Rose online) shop for 1999 euros.
