The Look E-675 Gotham

The Gotham is both a fitness bike and a maximally reduced urban racer. Fixed mudguards, pannier rack, kickstand and lighting system are nowhere to be found on this e-bike. They cannot be properly attached to the otherwise elaborately manufactured carbon frame either, as there are no corresponding mounting points or screw sockets.

Driving experience and operation

Look riders sit in a sporty position, but not uncomfortably, the bike even rides acceptably comfortably. In addition to the wide seat post, this is possibly due to the rear stays, whose flexibility is intended to dampen impacts. Gotham riders need a lot of leg power for dynamic acceleration; the Fazua motor is discreetly restrained. However, the drive unit and battery can be removed without tools.

If the motor and battery are removed, the lightest bike in the test field is a good four kilos lighter. With 160 mm brake discs, the braking system of the Look E-675 Gotham The bike is sensibly dimensioned, the ten-speed Deore gears are proven and reliable. The workmanship is top-notch, the carbon frame a feast for the eyes. For wet days, the Gotham has SKS Speedrocker mudguards that can be easily attached to the frame.
