The G2 hub motor reduces the weight of the Diamant 365 to less than 17.5 kilos. This clearly sets the pedelec apart from the classic e-bikes of the traditional brand. The 365 is light, easy to operate and provides a dynamic riding experience. A development that Diamant has already realised with its Ruby Super Legère has successfully realised. The manufacturer from near Chemnitz deliberately opted for a new, independent motor, which was developed together with Trek. Above 25 km/h, the bike can be pedalled without resistance.
The Diamant 365 is available in two equipment levels. Both use the same motor with 250 Wh battery capacity and a torque of 40 Nm. This is enough for around 60 kilometres in regular operation. The battery can be removed by specialist dealers, but is otherwise permanently installed. An optionally available range extender with a further 250 Wh can be installed in the frame triangle by anyone within three minutes.
The inconspicuous hub motor offers the usual 250 watts of rated power and a maximum torque of 40 Nm. This allows the lightweight pedelec to accelerate dynamically. Other equipment details include Shimano's MT200 standard disc brake and a 9-speed Altus or 10-speed Deore derailleur gear system (in the deluxe version of the 365) from the same manufacturer. The Diamant 365 is available from 2,449 Euro in the specialised trade.
