Cube Editor Hybrid: Stylish lightweight
Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of riding an e-bike knows how light-footed and comfortable cycling can feel, especially when you're riding routes where you don't want to break a sweat - for example on the way to work. The new Cube Editor Hybrid now features a lightweight drive: the Bosch Performance SX with 55 Nm of torque. This makes cruising around town even more effortless than with its predecessor, the Cube Editor City Bike without an electric motor.

The new Cube Editor Hybrid presents itself as a stylish, sporty urban bike, which at first glance you almost don't realise is an electrically powered bike - the battery is slimly mounted in the down tube and blends in with the design of the Editor Hybrid - chic! The new urban e-bike comes in five different versions, which we present in detail further down in the article. Plus point: All models have a total weight of well under 20 kilograms, which is below the average weight of electrically powered city bikes or e-bikes. So you can carry it (almost) anywhere.

Properties and features
Low weight and a slim design are the basic characteristics of the Cube Editor Hybrid. This is made possible by the lightweight aluminium frame with seamless welds, integrated cable routing and a full carbon fork. The city bikes are equipped with an 8-speed (Hybrid SLX 400X) or 11-speed (Hybrid SLT 400X) hub gear from Shimano, while the Hybrid Pro 400X comes with a 10-speed Cues derailleur.

According to Cube, the motor with a torque of up to 55 Nm and a 50% reduction in pedalling resistance (compared to other drives) should ensure an effortless riding experience in the city. In addition, there is a permanently installed 400 Wh battery in the down tube and the controller integrated in the top tube. The Cube Editor Hybrid with Bosch SX system is therefore the ideal urban bike for commuting, for example.
