Woom, specialised in children's bikesis now launching its Off mountain bike model with an air suspension fork as Off Air. As before, the bike is available in three sizes: 20, 24 and 26 inches. The bikes not only impress with their stylish design, but also with their technical details: the air suspension fork, which is designed for low weights, allows the rebound and compression damping to be adjusted in addition to the air pressure. The lightweight frame is made of butted and hydroformed aluminium tubes. All models have hydraulic disc brakes, Sram X5 gears and high-quality Schwalbe tyres.
The Woom Off Air 4 with 20-inch wheels weighs 9 kilos according to the manufacturer and is aimed at children aged six to eight. Cost: 899 euros. The four-inch larger wheels of the Woom Off Air 5 for kids between the ages of seven and eleven. The 10.1-kilo bike makes children's dreams come true for 949 euros. For the really big boys and girls (10 to 14 years), Woom has developed the Off Air 6 with 26-inch tyres on offer. The 999 euro bike is said to weigh 11 kilograms.
If you want to give your offspring a new bike for Easter, you need to hurry: According to Woom, anyone who orders by 2 April will receive the bike before Easter - provided, of course, that the current situation in times of coronavirus allows it.
