Park your bike, take a break

The principle is simple: as long as the child wants to ride on their own, the balance bike stays in use. When they get tired, they can sit in the trailer. The balance bike or mini-bike is carried on the outside. According to the manufacturer, a foldable support arm and fastening straps are designed to keep it upright and stable. After the break, it can be removed again.

The practical idea behind it is that families don’t have to choose between a balance bike and a trailer before setting off. They can take both. It appears that charging it in everyday use should be quick, and positioning it above the trailer’s axle promises to have as little impact as possible on the handling of the whole combination – apart from the extra weight.

Not suitable for every Chariot

It’s worth checking the model details carefully before buying. The balance bike holder is only compatible with the two-seater Chariot 2 trailers: Thule Chariot Cross 2 double and Thule Chariot Sport 2 double. The holder accommodates balance bikes with wheels up to 12 inches in size. On the Product page for the Thule Chariot 2 bike holder The manufacturer also states the weight: 2.44 kg.
