Since RideTime from Treuchtlingen in Central Franconia launched the first Kommit towing system on the market at the end of 2020, the small towing aid has enjoyed great popularity. This led to a lively exchange with parents and children for product developer Frank Hofmann. Thanks to this feedback from the field, the Kommit bike towing system has been further developed and is now getting an update.
One of the most important innovations is the extension of the webbing. This is now additionally bevelled to simplify assembly. The handling should be particularly intuitive so that it is quickly to hand as a small problem solver on steep or long climbs on a tour together. The carabiner is now more reliable and stronger to safely withstand the strain of towing children. The carabiner garage and the tension spring have also been improved. The stronger spring is designed to retract the rope more evenly and quickly.
The uncomplicated towing device promises children to maintain control and drive independently despite the towing system. This can playfully promote concentration and motor skills. The revised Kommit version has been available from over 90 dealers across Europe since December 2021. At Commit-Bike or Liquid Life The train system can be ordered at a price of 59.95 euros.
