With the Next model, Puky presents a balance bike that is designed to keep pace with children's development. Thanks to the flip chip, the size of the bike can be customised and is therefore not tied to a specific age group. In typical Puky style, the Next balance bike naturally has all kinds of child-friendly details on board.

Even if the Puky Next balance bike seems small, it is still big news. After all, Puky is one of the best-known German bicycle brands and has been producing in its own country since 1949. No wonder the family-run company is synonymous with children's bikes for many. A Puky balance bike is part of almost every childhood in Germany.

The latest litter from the experts for youngsters goes by the name of Puky Next. Children grow quickly. That's why the Next allows you to change from 12 to 14 inch wheels without having to buy a new bike. This approach is popular with children's bikes to save parents money and stress. By integrating a flip chip, families can easily customise the Puky Next to the child and thus improve the intuitive learning of movement.

A Puky balance bike for several years

The Puky Next children's balance bike is based on a lightweight nylon frame. The material promises a long service life thanks to its corrosion resistance and elasticity. Without a paint finish, the UV resistance also speaks in favour of long-lasting durability. The Puky frame is reinforced with special fibres to increase its stability. At the same time, the nylon is said to have a natural inherent damping effect for increased riding comfort. However, the technical highlight is in the dropouts of the frame and fork. A flip chip is used there, as known from various mountain bikes. Reversing the component enables the change from 12 to 14 inch wheels and vice versa. Parents who are planning the conversion simply order the appropriate parts in the corresponding kit. The Puky Next should be suitable for children from two to five years of age.

In addition to the wheel size, the seating position on the Puky Next can also be customised for each child. A special stem system allows the cockpit to be adjusted. Depending on the rider's needs, a sporty or upright sitting position can be realised. A non-slip footboard provides support for children's feet during fast rides. They come to a halt with a V-brake rim brake including an easy-to-operate lever. Child-friendly grips and an ergonomic saddle are a matter of course for Puky. The Next can be parked safely with a kickstand.

Children's vehicles should adapt to the needs of children - not the other way round. Our aim is to playfully introduce children to their own mobility at an early age and to strengthen their motor skills. - Marc K. Thiel, Managing Director Puky
