Children's bike Propain Yuma on test
The inspiration for the Propain children's bikes came to the company founders while on holiday in Whistler, Canada. It's no wonder that Propain has been synonymous with downhill-ready kids' bikes like the 24-inch Yuma fully we tested ever since.
The Propain Yuma also comes with full bike park approval. 140 millimetres of travel and plenty of tyre grip give our tester kids on the 24-inch bike the reserves they need to turn the throttle even on rough downhills. The longer chainstays and wide handlebars help to keep the Yuma MTB-Fully on track. Nevertheless, the children's bike from the mail-order company whizzes through berms quickly and remains manoeuvrable even at low speeds.
Test summary of the Propain Yuma by Tim (10 years old):
"The Propain is a great kids' bike for the bike park. Jumping and shredding downhill is great fun. Downhill you're as fast as a rocket. Uphill is okay, but it's a bit exhausting."
