Children's mountain bikes from Cube have been number one in the bike racks outside schools for years. Now the Upper Palatinate company is venturing into the Stereo 140 Youth For the first time, a high-quality MTB full-suspension bike for the next generation. With 27.5-inch wheels and a frame size from 13.5 inches, the Mini-Stereo is suitable for children from 135 centimetres. 140 millimetres of suspension travel at the rear and 150 at the front, powerful Magura brakes with 180 mm discs, wide handlebars: with the Stereo, technically adept young bikers are equipped for wild trail rides and bike park use. The consistent focus also has a downside: at 13.6 kilos, the speedster is quite heavy. During testing, the rear suspension with SR Suntour shock worked perfectly - the suspension was easy to adjust to the low weight of our June tester (38 kilos).
The Cube Stereo Youth gives youngsters a lot of security and confidence and is really fun. Too bad: Due to the kink in the short seat tube, the seat post can only be lowered to a limited extent, a telescopic seat post would help here, the frame is prepared for this. Sizes: 13.5, 16 and 18 inches.
