Cube 2019: Model update for E-MTBs with Bosch drive
Not much new for 2019: Cube is sticking with Bosch drives with Powertube batteries for its entire e-MTB fleet. New are the Action Team version of the Stereo Hybrid 160 and a hardtail for heavy riders.

It has 17 different e-hardtails alone Cube in its range for the 2019 model year, plus twelve men's fullys and eleven e-mountainbikes for women. This shows how important bikes with electric motors are to the Upper Palatinate company. After Cube - like many other e-MTB manufacturers - struggled with delivery problems in 2018, things should improve significantly for 2019. It is striking that Cube remains loyal to Bosch as the drive supplier for the entire e-MTB segment and almost exclusively uses the Performance CX motor with 500 Wh Powertube battery for the sporty models. We visited Cube in Waldershof (Upper Palatinate) and took a look at the entire 2019 model range. Here are the highlights from our point of view - from the 24-inch children's e-bike to the Stereo Hybrid 160 in the Action Team version:

Cube Acid 240 Hybrid: For the first time, Cube is building a children's e-bike in 24 inches. The e-MTB for kids has the same technologies and equipment as the Acid series for adults. This includes a Bosch Active drive with Purion display and a 400 Wh battery. The SR Suntour XCT JR suspension fork smoothes every root path and the Shimano 9-speed gear system works harmoniously with the Bosch drive system, which is throttled to 20 km/h. 2.35 tyres ensure comfort, 152 mm short cranks for ergonomic pedalling.
