Where the Koblenz-based mail order company Canyon Neuron Young Hero children's bike has been used is not so easy to recognise. The frame contains high-quality, well-sealed bearings and the cables are routed internally. The Manitou air suspension is easy to tune and the gear range of the twelve-speed drivetrain is generous. The styling of the Neuron Young Hero appeals to the kids - no wonder, since YouTube superstar Fabio Wibmer has a finger in the pie. The cost-saving measures only become apparent when the Neuron Young Hero hangs on the scales. At 14.1 kilos ready to ride, it weighs more than many adult bikes and is around twice as heavy as the Cube Elite 240 SL carbon fibre kids' hardtail.
