It all started with a balance bike for his son. As the junior grew up, Sebastian Tegtmeier gradually developed age-appropriate children's bikes, as the existing range was not very satisfactory. His Supurb brand's range now extends from 12 to 16 and 20 inches, right up to a 24-inch model. The BO20 is suitable for children from the age of five and a height of 112 centimetres. The geometry and equipment allow children to get started with real mountain biking. The bike weighs a child-friendly nine kilos, hydraulic Avid discs are easy on delicate hands and there is even an optional suspension fork developed in-house. The kinematics are specially designed for lightweight mini bikers. A material mix of aluminium and carbon keeps the weight low. Suspension travel: 70 millimetres. Unfortunately, so many lovely details are not available at a mass-produced price. The fork costs 250 euros extra as a set with the BO20, but 450 euros on its own.
