Uncompromisingly light dream of Canyon development
Carbon frame, high-quality components, yet not expensive: With a great deal of commitment, conviction and passion, direct mail order company Canyon has placed the Dude CF in its model range within a very short space of time.

In order to have more than just any fat bike, the Koblenz-based company has opted uncompromisingly for carbon fibre for its Pummelchen. A clear statement on the positioning of the bike and the fact that less weight simply means more riding fun. As the only bike under 13 kilos and by far the lightest wheels in the comparison, the Dude with its short chainstays is surprisingly agile and light-footed. Thanks to the Schwalbe Jumbo Jim tyres, the bike also rolls pleasantly smoothly. The short stem gives you a relaxed all-mountain position. Despite the short development time, the beautiful frame details and clean workmanship are impressive. Thanks to variable dropouts, the rear triangle also offers space for 4.8-inch tyres. A steering angle limiter is designed to prevent damage to the frame in the event of a fall.

ConclusionTogether with Borealis, the Canyon stands out from the group of fat bikes. Light, agile and equipped with many well thought-out details.

PLUS Low overall weight, lightweight wheels, light-footed handling
MINUS Only 160 brake disc possible with short wheelbase

The chainstay length of the Canyon Dude can be altered using two positions in the dropout. Short for 4-inch tyres, long for 4.8-inch tyres.
