Despite its economy price, the 2.6 kilo frame has internally routed cables, large brake discs and easy-rolling Schwalbe Jumbo Jim tyres. However, the low price is noticeable on the scales. Almost 16.5 kilos require a lot of lard in your thighs as soon as you go uphill or want to increase your speed. Compared to the rest of the field, the riding position is also extremely upright (largest stack in comparison). Due to the long head tube and the handlebars with a high rise, you hardly get any pressure on the front wheel, which makes handling uphill and in corners more difficult. This makes the Bulls more suitable for relaxed cruising without any time pressure than for sporty mountain biking. Although the FSA cranks are quite wide, they offer sufficient ankle clearance. Despite the large discs, the Tektro brakes could be more powerful.
Conclusion: favourable but also very heavy bike. It would be much better with a lower cockpit.
PLUS Low price, easy rolling tyres
MINUS High frame and total weight, front too high
