KTM stands for Made in Austria and has done so for 50 years. The bikes are developed, painted, spoked and assembled in Mattighofen (partly manufactured in the Far East, of course). 40 million bikes have been produced over the years and the company has successfully held its own against low-wage countries. KTM still has a strong identification with racing. KTM has traditionally had an affinity for racing and occupied a place in the e-bike niche early on. Today, the Austrians offer 50 models with e-support, the first of which was built for the ÖAMTC in 1994.

The Hardtail Ultra Pinion as the name suggests, relies on a compact 18-speed Pinion gearbox instead of classic derailleur gears. The basis is an aluminium frame with 29er wheels, the bike offers all the options for a pannier rack, stand, mudguards or similar. A "no stress bike" weighing 13.6 kilos for 3199 euros.
The Myroon is being revised in terms of the frame, specifically in the front derailleur area for 1x11 drivetrains or the new Shimano side-swing derailleur of the XTR. KTM is adapting the cable routing accordingly, including for the electric I-CD lockout and Di2. 18 different model variants of the Myroon are planned, with or without front derailleur and customised cable routing depending on the groupset. The top model with XTR 1x11 drivetrain weighs 8.7 kilos and costs 4899 euros.
At the ScarpThe same frame changes apply to the 100 millimetre fully as to the Myroon. There are also 18 model variants, the version with the highest quality full carbon frame is cheaper (from 3500 euros). The range includes models with I-CD suspension from Fox and DI2 gears, with the battery hidden in the seat post.
The Lycan is the classic all-mountain/touring bike from KTM with 125 millimetres of suspension travel. A carbon rear triangle saves 400 grams of weight. The trend towards more and more suspension travel Lycan LT It is aimed at the enduro sector (160 millimetres of suspension travel). The bike has been around since last season and the suspension still works with a floating shock. Also available as a single-chainring version without front derailleur, weighing approx. 13 kilos.
