With the the new Cargo One Tenways is expanding its range of premium e-bikes to include a cargo bike. Whilst the brand’s portfolio has so far consisted of commuter bikes and city bikes, the Cargo One marks the addition of a new category: cargo bikes.

The Cargo One is designed to be a luxurious and versatile cargo e-bike which, despite its high-spec features, is more budget-friendly than many other bikes in this price bracket. The price of 4,999 euros is also intended to appeal to families who cannot afford a cargo e-bike in the upper four-figure range or above. According to Tenways, the Cargo One allows you to get around town flexibly, comfortably and in an environmentally friendly way. It turns transport from work into fun!

Here’s what’s inside the new Tenways Cargo One
The functions of the Cargo One are designed to combine style, comfort and user-friendliness. What does the concept for this look like? The M600 mid-drive motor is supplied by Bafang and, together with the Enviolo continuously variable gear hub, is designed to make the cargo bike – with a maximum total weight of 250 kg – highly versatile. The Tenways is fitted with an almost maintenance-free Gates CDX carbon belt drive, 4-piston disc brakes from Tektro and Schwalbe’s puncture-proof Big Ben tyres, which allow the bike to tackle rough urban terrain and light gravel tracks with ease.
The low-step frame of the cargo bike allows cyclists to get comfortably seated. With the stem, which is adjustable in two dimensions, the riding position and handlebar position can be individually adjusted in a single simple step. According to Tenways, this focus on comfort goes even further. The Selle Royal saddle, a suspension front fork and a large, shock-resistant EPP cargo box ensure that both rider and cargo travel in comfort and are protected from bumps in the road. To provide protection in changing weather conditions, Tenways’ new e-cargo bike comes fitted with a rain cover as standard. Also included in the scope of delivery are two covers for the cargo box in black and green. Most recently, however, one feature has been causing quite a stir – one that now comes as standard on this bike: the indicator!

The Tenways Cargo One will be available from 5 February 2024 at the Available on the Tenways website and from retailers. The electric cargo bike costs 4,999.
