With the new Cargo One, Tenways is expanding its range of premium e-bikes with a cargo bike. While the brand's portfolio previously consisted of commuter bikes and city bikes, the Cargo One adds a new category of cargo bikes.
The Cargo One is intended to be a luxurious and versatile cargo e-bike that is more budget-friendly than many other bikes of this size, despite being well equipped. The price of 4,999 euros is also intended to appeal to families who cannot afford a cargo e-bike in the upper 4-digit range or above. According to Tenways, the Cargo One is a flexible, comfortable and environmentally friendly way to get around town. This makes transporting work fun!
According to Tenways, the Cargo One has been developed as a reliable and sustainable transport solution. The ergonomic design and high-quality components, paired with the good price-performance ratio, are intended to offer a versatile overall package. According to Tenways, the cargo bike combines functionality, comfort and safety and enables cyclists to transport parcels, children or pets flexibly and comfortably through the city.
The functions of the Cargo One are designed to combine style, comfort and user-friendliness. What does the concept look like? The M600 mid-drive motor comes from Bafang and, together with the continuously variable Enviolo gear hub, is designed to make the cargo bike - with a maximum total weight of 250 kg - versatile. The Tenways is equipped with an almost maintenance-free Gates CDX carbon belt drive, 4-piston disc brakes from Tektro and puncture-proof Big Ben tyres from Schwalbe, which make it easy to ride on rough urban terrain and light gravel tracks.
The low step-through frame of the cargo bike allows cyclists to sit comfortably. With the stem, which is two-dimensionally adjustable, the riding position and handlebar position can be customised with a flick of the wrist. According to Tenways, this claim to comfort is taken even further. The Selle Royal saddle, a sprung front fork and a large, impact-resistant EPP cargo box ensure that the rider and load are comfortable on the road and are protected from bumps in the road. The new e-cargo bike from Tenways is equipped with a rain cover as standard to protect it in changing weather conditions. The scope of delivery also includes two covers for the cargo box in black and green. However, the last feature to make a splash is one that is now fitted as standard on this bike: the indicator!
The Tenways Cargo One will be available on the Tenways website and from dealers from 5 February 2024. The e-cargo bike costs 4,999 euros.
