Trailer bike or tandem bar?
Children usually do not yet have the stamina to cycle longer distances under their own steam. The solution: pull-along systems for pedalling along.

Between the ages of four and five, most children are ready: bike trailers or child seats - just a few years ago the coveted places of honour - are suddenly no longer of interest. They need their own bike. This is when the problems begin for cycling parents. Because even if children can already ride a bike without training wheels, this does not mean that they are immediately fit for the big bike tour.

Even at primary school age, children still lack the maturity to cope with road traffic. They are easily distracted, overhear noises and misjudge the speed of other road users. This is especially true for younger children. In addition, children do not yet have the stamina to cycle longer distances under their own steam. Tracking systems for pedalling along are a good alternative. MYBIKE has compared the various systems.
