Your opinion counts! Does the E-MTB need a light?
Every e-MTB has a battery on board - but very few models come with a lighting system. Is that a good thing? Or does something need to change as soon as possible?

The e-mountainbike is developing more and more from a simple bicycle to a fully integrated vehicle. Nevertheless, there are currently only very few sporty e-mountainbikes with permanently installed lighting on sale. However, they show that the integration of a lighting system is not technical witchcraft. So should something change here?

Let's be honest: who has never been surprised by the dark on the way back from a bike tour? There are few things more unpleasant than travelling unlit in traffic at night. It's dangerous anyway.

Sure, if you plan well and think ahead, you'll have clip-on lights in your pocket. But "Oops, forgot!" or "Damn, battery's flat!" could finally be a thing of the past with neatly integrated e-bike solutions.

Is this the only promising solution for the future? Or is a permanently installed lighting system not for sporty E-MTBs? Tell us your opinion and actively influence the development of future E-MTBs! We are looking forward to your vote.

In recent years, the qualified sports scientist and trained journalist has tested over 300 bikes and more than 40 different motor systems in the laboratory and in practice.
