After 7 years of continuous development and design, the Australian brand Knog presents its latest generation of urban bike lights: the Knog Blinders with the Blinder 4 model. Available in 5 designs with white LED for the front and red LED for the rear, the Blinders will be available at Cosmic Sports from April.
Bright, but not approved according to StVZO
The outside of the Blinders consists of a coloured anodised aluminium front cover in the 5 versions Standard, Circle, Cross, GT and Arrow as well as a housing body made of hard-wearing polycarbonate. An attached, flexible silicone strap with stainless steel fastener enables tool-free installation on handlebars and seat posts with a diameter of 22-35 mm. Thanks to the four high-power LEDs, which have a luminosity of 80 lumens on the front light and 44 lumens on the rear light, the light from the Blinder 4 is visible for over 800 metres. In addition to the continuous light with a constant burn time of 3 hours, 4 additional flashing modes can be selected to extend the burn time to up to 50 hours.
Plug into the computer, charge, done
The Blinder's lithium-polymer battery can be recharged via an integrated USB plug using a USB port - a charge level indicator signals the charging process with a red light for up to 5 hours and a green light when the battery is full. The 100 per cent waterproof Blinder costs 39.90 euros and is available from Cosmicsports.
