Knog PWR Powerbank 5000 mAh, the medium-sized battery, is very versatile. It can be charged via micro USB or with an optional charging station (49.99 euros). Together with the 5000 mAh battery and the helmet mount with cable, the Knog PWR trail light head with a nominal 1000 lumens creates a bright and versatile helmet light. We recommend ordering the battery holder (Knog PWR Frame Mount, 39 grams, €14.99) separately to securely attach the battery to the back of the helmet.

For many bikers, the 360 grams may be too much ballast on the helmet. In this case, the extension kit for bike mounting (Knog PWR Bike Extension Mount, 152 grams, 39.99 euros). In addition to the aforementioned battery holder, the set also includes light head holders for tube and frame mounting as well as the connecting spiral cable. This means that the light head and battery rest on the bike and do not put any strain on the cervical vertebrae.

The second cable is also a great way to extend the helmet mount. The two spiral cables can be plugged together and are then long enough to allow the battery to disappear into the darkest depths of the rucksack without damaging the neck muscles. At camp, the battery charges the smartphone as a power bank or goes into the lantern (181 grams without battery, 39.99 euros), which then replaces the campfire.

Sebastian Brust was born in 1979 and was originally socialised on his grandmother's folding bike, but has mainly been riding studded tyres since his fifth birthday. Loves all kinds of bikes - and merging with nature. Believes that disc brakes are much safer today than they were 15 years ago and thinks he has helped with his brake and pad tests. However, the trained vehicle technology engineer very much regrets that the bicycle industry is orientating itself on what he considers to be the wrong ideals of the car industry. At BIKE, he corrects, produces and organises digital content on the website.
