The battery and technology of the Pro 80 are housed in a high-quality aluminium casing. It has a rather narrow light profile and is weaker at close range. The charging times are quite long compared to the lighting time, especially for the headlamp. The hard-to-read charge level indicator on the rear only gives an approximate indication of the remaining runtime. The rear light shines the brightest in comparison.

Sigma offers a solid set of lamps for a reasonable 60 euros. The Aura throws a bright cone of light at long range, the close range remains rather dark and the edges are only just illuminated. The light duration of the headlight is good, but the battery indicator only gives a late warning before the juice runs out. The rear light is easy to operate and impresses with its short charging time.

The brightness of the Trelock light is very good and homogeneous in comparison, but the performance drops slightly at close range and at the side of the road. The large display provides clear and precise information about the selected light level and the remaining battery life. The LS 760 Vision offers plenty of reserves. The slim rear light shines for quite a long time compared to the charging time.

The set from VDO is the cheapest and lightest in the comparison. The headlight and rear light shine for a relatively long time and the charging times are also limited. Unfortunately, the light profile of the headlight is a little weak, especially the close-up range remains very dark. The holder for the front light can be rotated and mounted on the stem. The rubber of the rear light is very short.
