Enduro, All Mountain, Cross Country or Gravel. With the Veleno, MET wants to have developed a helmet for all types of bikes and thus simplify the jungle of categories.

With so many mountain bike categories, it's easy to lose track. MET wants to bring some clarity to the jungle of categories and presents a helmet for everything. Whether enduro, all mountain, trail, cross country or gravel. The new Veleno is designed to cut a fine figure on all bikes and offer maximum protection.

The minimalist visor is removable and transforms the Mountain bike helmet into a cycling helmet for gravel bikes or XC hardtails thanks to invisible clips. The downturned shell at the back of the head and at the temples is designed to provide more protection. The MET helmet should therefore cut a fine figure on single trails, gravel tracks as well as on the road. The so-called Safe-T Upsilon adjustment system is designed to ensure an optimum fit without pressure points.

The all-rounder has 26 ventilation openings from MET. This is designed to keep your head cool even on hot days. When the goggles are not in use, they can be stored in two special openings. The Veleno can optionally be fitted with MIPS system can be ordered. In the event of a fall, this yellow insert protects the head from dangerous rotational forces. 300 grammes is what the new helmet with MIPS should weigh. Without the yellow insert, it weighs around 25 grams less. 130 Euro are due for the MIPS model (>> available here). 100 Euro does the Veleno cost without the rotation protection (>> available here).
