Without a chin bar, the Leatt DBX 3.0 Evo V2 is a functional and safe trail helmet.

With the lower part clipped on, it is only a moderately fitting full face with little protection at the back of the head. I found it more difficult to breathe than in a one-piece Endura MT500, but it encloses the head better. As rucksacks are frowned upon, you don't know where to put the chin thing on the ascent.

Weight: 772 gram

Price: 259 Euro

STRENGTHSTheoretically 2in1 helmet, solid click system, good half shell

WEAKNESSES: For a full face only moderately tight fit on the head, difficult to transport

Conclusion: good fit, high safety of the upper shell, but as a full face not fish, not meat.
