Endurance test: Helmet Sweet Protection Bushwhacker Carbon
The bushwhacker probably owes its name "bush knife" to its aggressive appearance.

The low-slung helmet shell is very neatly finished - which is to be expected at this price - and sits extremely securely and comfortably on the head. Despite the carbon inserts, the Norwegian weighs 370 grams. The integrated MIPS system is designed to absorb rotational forces better in the event of a fall. The head ring is easy to adjust in height, but the cheap-looking slider causes problems, especially when opening the helmet. Another drawback: despite the internal ventilation channels, the head is only moderately cooled. The thin foam pads only absorb a little sweat. And as they have a gap on the forehead, the beads of sweat regularly hit the centre of the lens of the sunglasses.

Our tip: For 100 euros less, you can get the Bushwhacker without carbon and without MIPS, but with 60 grams less on the helmet shell.
