Zéfal presents a 10-litre handlebar bag that scores points for its affordable price and acceptable weight. The principle of a holster and separate, waterproof pannier has been tried and tested for over ten years.

The new handlebar bag from Zéfal holds 10 litres of luggage in a waterproof pannier for a quick overnight stay. The roll-top fastener allows you to adjust the load. The maximum width has apparently been chosen so that the bag fits exactly between the grips of a racing handlebar. Theoretically, however, larger panniers can also be clamped into the holster to stow bulky but lightweight items.

Despite its favourable price, the Zéfal makes a high-quality and robust impression. The principle of a holster with a separate, waterproof pack sack has proven its worth since the beginnings of the bikepacking movement over ten years ago. A load capacity of four kilos, reflective material and an additional light attachment round off the package.

Sebastian Brust was born in 1979 and was originally socialised on his grandmother's folding bike, but has mainly been riding studded tyres since his fifth birthday. Loves all kinds of bikes - and merging with nature. Believes that disc brakes are much safer today than they were 15 years ago and thinks he has helped with his brake and pad tests. However, the trained vehicle technology engineer very much regrets that the bicycle industry is orientating itself on what he considers to be the wrong ideals of the car industry. At BIKE, he corrects, produces and organises digital content on the website.
