With a capacity of up to 4.5 litres, the new saddle bag from Restrap is designed to provide storage space for any necessary items on mountain bikes, gravel bikes or road bikes. In other words, space for additional clothing, tools, spare parts or anything else you might need when bikepacking or touring. Even in bad weather, when robustness and moisture protection are required. This is ensured by the various materials used to make the saddle bag.
The Restrap Saddle Pack consists of a combination of three different fabrics, which are processed in different places on the bag and are intended to fulfil different requirements.
The sides of the saddle bag are made of hard-wearing 1000D textile nylon, which is also used in the entire bikepacking range. This material is available in the colours black, orange and olive.
The top and bottom of the Restrap Saddle Pack are made from a TPU-coated nylon developed by Restrap. This coating is designed to make it particularly easy to wipe and clean the bag.
The PU inner lining is seam-sealed to keep it tight when it gets really dirty on the go. The orange colour of the fabric is designed to make it easier to find items on the go.
A rigid internal structure ensures that the bag remains stable - regardless of whether it is full or empty. Newly designed fastening straps ensure a secure fit on the saddle and seat post and prevent the bag from swinging open during the ride.
In addition to a 4.5 litre version, there is now also a smaller version with a capacity of 2.5 litres. This smaller version can be used for shorter trips. Whether it's a big bikepacking adventure or short tours with minimal equipment: the Restrap Saddle Pack should be a useful companion on all missions - even in adverse conditions.
The Restrap Saddle Pack is now available in stores and costs 77.95 euros (2.5 litre version) or 95.99 euros (4.5 litre version).
