Transporting several bikes on a bike carrier can leave ugly marks due to sharp-edged pedals and brake discs. Special transport protectors for bikes provide a remedy.

Winter has Germany firmly in its grip. But just then it's time to start dreaming about your next summer holiday. However, anyone thinking about shuttling their bikes on holiday on a bike rack should proceed with caution. Especially when several bikes are transported in a confined space, ugly paint damage and scratches can quickly occur. The frames and handlebars rub against each other and brake discs and pedals in particular can leave nasty marks on the paintwork.

You can certainly solve the problem with improvisation, adhesive tape, rubber bands and old rags or blankets, but this flutters, shakes and ultimately doesn't achieve much. Anyone who frequently has their bikes on the rack should consider a more professional solution. For example, the sophisticated protection set from B-Protection. The fork, pedals and rear frame triangle are wrapped in specially developed protectors, all "Made in Germany" with a two-year guarantee. This effectively minimises the risk of transport damage.

The company Dirtlej offers an alternative to the high-quality B-Protection set. The "Made in Germany" seal is not required here, but the price is significantly lower.
