The Franconian manufacturer Uebler presents its first transport box for mounting on the back of a vehicle, the Heckbox B1. Bicycle racks. The box will be available in the coming weeks and adds a versatile storage option to the existing range of bicycle transport solutions.
However, the Uebler rear box B1 does not swallow bicycles, but is designed for transporting a wide range of equipment such as ski or hiking equipment, pushchairs, SUP boards or camping equipment.
Weighing just 13 kilograms, the box can be transported and assembled by one person alone. This low weight combined with a storage volume of 300 litres enables convenient loading at the rear of the vehicle. Two patented quick-release fasteners are designed to ensure simple and secure installation on all Uebler i, H and X series bike carriers from 2014 onwards.

The launch of the B1 rear box marks Uebler's entry into new product areas. The company is planning to develop transport boxes for the vehicle roof in addition to its core product of bicycle racks and the new rear box. In this way, Uebler intends to further expand its range of transport solutions for vehicles.
